About the family
Hey there, my retired husband is normally our son’s care taker and the stay at home parent. But recently he succumbed to a back injury (fully disabled veteran) and cannot take care of our son Rhett. I work from home but my career is very demanding and I am unable to help most days with our son during work hours. Rhett loves to eat, crawl around, play with his toys and discover new things. He has a good schedule and usually gets up around 9-10 in the morning, down for a nap between 12-1 and another later in the evening. I am typically off work around 5 and can take care of him at that point. We need help during the day while I work and my husband recovers. He will be able to guide and assist in anyway he can, but he cannot physically bend over or pick up Rhett up at this time and for the foreseeable future. Our daughter is a freshman in high school, and usually gets home around 4 and she will be able to assist as well if she’s not overwhelmed with homework that day. Any and all help greatly appreciated!
